I admit it. I am a logophile – a lover of words.

For the upcoming posts under this heading, I’ll first introduce you to a word, define it*, give a bit of history on the word, and then use it in sentences and/or paragraphs, depending on the word.

Some of the writings may just be sentences to help you get a feeling for how the word is used, some may be paragraphs in which the focus word is the newly introduced word, and some may be short stories or short essays.

This format may change, so expect each post to be slightly different, some longer than others, some just a few sentences. I hope you will enjoy reading these as much as I will enjoy writing them.
