The voices tell me to stop. 

The voices tell me I’m weak. 

The voices won’t let me decide. 

My fate is in their hands, they say. 

I cry out, but  

they block my words,  

overshadowing me. 

Everything is trivial, they say. 

My choices don’t matter;  

The voices won’t go away…
